Steven told his first real jokes this morning. He has been going around saying "Knock, knock" for months now. Recently he added nonsense words after you say "Who's there?" So, when you repeated it, saying, "gu-gu-gu-gu-goo Who?" he would tilt his head back and laugh hysterically at his joke.
This morning, he actually had a punch line to his "Knock, knock" jokes. The first one was:
-Knock, knock!
-Who's there?
-Sa-wa
-Sarah who?
-Knock Knock
-Who's there?
-Sa-wa, Sa-wa
-Sarah, Sarah who?
-Knock, knock
-Who's there?
-Sa-wa, Sa-wa, Sa-wa
- Sarah, Sarah, Sarah who?
-Sa-wa!! (giggle, giggle)
The second one isn't really funny, but shows he is beginning to grasp the concept of the joke. Or it was a completely random chance, but I still like it:
-Knock, knock!
-Who's there?
-Kix
-Kix who?
-si-we-ole! (cereal)
That's my boy. He's growing up and learning so many new words and things.
