While in Africa, my family and I took many pictures. Sometimes it is obvious what the subject of the picture is, but sometimes it is hard to tell at first glance whether the picture is of scenery or an animal. I thought I would present a few of the pictures to see if you can identify the subject of the photo.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
Here are the answers:
1. This is a picture of the Mara River. However, if you look in the upper right of the river, you may be able to see 3 Nile crocodiles sunning themselves on a sandbar.
2. Here is a baboon on the side of the road as we headed through the reserve to the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage.
3. Tree in the Masai Mara National Reserve. But it has an occupant, or two. There is a leopard lying just above the branching of the trees, and a little further to his right is his dinner.
4. Giraffe at the Giraffe Center.
5. Morning view across the Mara, with a buffalo lying in the grass in the right-hand side foreground.
6. Evening view of the Mara, with a Serval Cat walking through the center of the picture.
7. Zebra's in the midground.
8. Two hippos in the foreground as we crossed a stream in the Mara.
